Dear gods! It's the 31st. In less than six hours, I shall be locked in mortal combat with my sense of determination and creative pacing to hammer out a novel in the space of a month. It's doable. Others have proven that several times over. I myself have never succeeded in outlasting the brutal gauntlet of the the flashing cursor upon the expanse of open text program.
May the gods have mercy upon my poor broken body.
Oh, and I've decided at this point to go with a completely different story arc than I had been contemplating previous. Wheee.
So I just had to add to my mania. Why did I ever decide I needed to attempt hacking out a novel in a month? Oh yeah, because I like books and writing. And how can I harass my Beloved to meet her word goals if I'm not right in the trenches with her?
Behold the newest widget of my mental oblivion:

Here I am again. I've seemed to have stepped from online journal to online journal and now I'm blogging?! Sure, why not. The journals languished for lack of things to write, but perhaps blogging will suit the disjointed thoughts I may want to commit to text better than attempting to forge an entire entry for a journal.
It's not like I'm not racking up the writing commitments anyway. Lil's enthusiasm and decision to attempt NaNoWriMo again has led me to decide to give it a shot as well. Perhaps another crazy scheme conducted in concert will yield us both results. If not, well there's a lot to be said for sleep deprivation and overdoses of stimulants. It has to be said, it's really not printable. I'm thinking we'll have fun with it.
Anyway, it's not like I don't have the opportunity to post being as I find myself at long stretches behind a counter with unobstructed web access and customers as complex as Lincoln Logs.
I'm looking forward to seeing what sorts of mischief I can get up to with this.
